讲座摘要

Feedback involves the provision of information about one’s job performance or effectiveness. Although everyone in the workplace can act as both feedback giver and receiver, most research has focused on the top-down feedback, where leaders provide feedback to subordinates. In this talk, I will present two working papers that explore the less-studied forms of feedback: bottom-up feedback and lateral feedback. The first paper investigates how leaders’ downward feedback-seeking behaviors can be attributed differently by subordinates, which in turn influences their candidness in bottom-up feedback to leaders. The second paper examines how and when positive feedback from coworkers may lead to unexpected, uncollaborative responses from employees.


嘉宾简介


钟萌博士,现任西安交通大学管理学院副教授、硕士生导师。2021年毕业于美国伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校,获博士学位。其研究方向为组织行为与人力资源管理,近期研究主要聚焦于绩效反馈沟通、新型员工-组织关系、零工劳动等议题。研究成果已发表于多本国际高水平管理学期刊,包括Journal of Applied PsychologyJournal of ManagementJournal of Vocational BehaviorBusiness & Society等。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目。
